Bookings

A reservation can be made by phone, e-mail, through the contact form available from our website or online via our own booking system. A reservation remains as 'provisional' only by the time Hostel Lavele receives an advance payment. The deposit represents the amount for the first night stay and only after  this deposit has been received the reservation becomes subject to our terms and conditions, including cancellation policy. Hostel Lavele reserves the right to cancel any 'provisional' bookings at any time and without reason or comments.
After receipt of the deposit, as outlined above, the booking becomes 'guaranteed'. All fees for accommodation must be paid at check-in on arrival date of the booking with the exception of group bookings (over 10 people).. In the case of a group booking, all fees must be paid, and cleared, not less than 30 days prior to arrival date.
Any online booking requires a deposit of 100% of the first night stay. You pay it at the time of booking or within 7 days of the booking date with a credit/debit card through Hostel Lavele’s own booking system. If we do not recieve the deposit payment in those terms, the booking will be automatically cancelled.
Reservations made by phone or e-mail require a deposit if thay are made not later than 3 days before arrival date. Only if you wish to book one room for one night, a deposit is not required. In all other cases a deposit of 100% of the first night stay is required and the payment is made either by bank transfer or in cash in our office.

Cancellations and Amendments
Amendments can be made up to 24 hours prior to the day of arrival depending upon the nature of the change and availability.
Should you, for any reason, wish to cancel your booking, please advise us as soon as possible, but not later than 24 hours prior to arrival day. Should your cancellation be within the 24-hour period, the full amount for the first night stay shall be retained by Hostel Lavele. Should we be advised prior to the 24 hour cut-off period, only the 10% of the deposit shall be retained by Hostel Lavele, and the rest of the paid sum will be refunded on your credit card, when it comes to online bookings. This fee shall be retained to cover administration costs. In all other cases, the deposit is refundable, a possible small amount shall be retained to cover a  transfer if necessary.
Should any, or all guests not arrive on the booked date of arrival, Hostel Lavele will charge the full amount for  the first night’s accommodation for non-arriving guests and the remainder of the booking will be cancelled.

General Rules
Check-in time is after 14:00 on arrival date and check-out time is before11.30 on departure date. Early check-in and late check-out are available depending on reservation schedule. We kindly ask you to provide arrival time and to be accurate. All guests may be required to provide appropriate photo identification at check-in.
The Manager may, at his/her discretion, carry out a room inspection of all rooms to determine that no malicious or accidental damage has occurred. Should any damage be found, the guest or group shall be charged accordingly, and the guest or group booking may be terminated at the Manager's discretion with no refund of monies paid.
Should any guest or group be found to have non-paying persons staying in their room(s), the guest or group shall be charged for the extra people and the on-going booking may be, at the Manager's discretion, terminated with no refund of monies paid.

Should a guest or group become unruly in any manner resulting in complaints or, disturbing other guests, Hostel Lavele retains the right to terminate the agreement resulting in eviction with no refund of monies paid.
All areas within Hostel Lavele are designated No Smoking and No Pets Allowed, except for  registered guide dogs. Smoking, in any area of the hostel, is a serious offence and will be treated as such, possibly resulting in the eviction of anyone breaking this regulation.
Illegal substances of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in eviction, and possible prosecution of the offending party.
Hostel Lavele retains the right to refuse entry to the building of any people who are clearly under the influence of illegal drugs or excessive alcohol.
